Ltd “Cesu Arka” entered the fresh fish; fish fillet and high quality culinary product market in year 2009. Company’s main specialization is delivery of refrigerated and smoked fish produce to the grocery shops and restaurants of Latvia.

To our partners we offer a wide variety of fish products extracted form Latvian lakes and the Baltic Sea. Next to this we also offer fish form freshwater reserves located in Estonia and Poland.

Ltd “Cesu Arka” is the mother company of recently created brand “Brize”. “Brize” main focus is on gathering high quality, fresh fish products, including fillets and offering it to our customers in convenient packaging. Besides fresh fish “Brize” also offers smoked fish and with further exploration of market and tastes we aim to introduce new products to our range.

PROCESS

Fishery produce smokehouse and processing manufactory is a PVD (Food and Veterinary Department) recognized company that carries out high quality, hot and cold fishery produce smoking. Our products are prepared using alder wood, which is a traditional Latvian method for treating fish. After a hot smoking cycle of three hours, fish like Silver herring, Ray’s bream and Mackerel obtains natural golden shine, distinctively aromatic scent and flavorful taste. Cold smoking, on the other hand, can me a much more time-consuming process due to the difference in the temperatures, as the name suggests. Averagely lasting for three days. Some of the most favorite and also flavor dense cold smoked products are Flounder, mackerel and butterfish.
