Marinated Herring

About the product

Ingredients:

  • 0,5 kg Herring fillet
  • 50 g wheat flour
  • Oil

Marinade:

  • 2 small onions
  • Unground peppers
  • Bay leafs
  • Salt & sugar
  • Vinegar

Preparation:

Cover herring fillets in flour and cook them in a heated pan. Place the cooked fish in a dish and pour over the marinade. Leave it in a fridge for couple of hours to fuse the taste.

Marinade:

Add all the ingredients to boiling water. Add salt and water to your preference. After the marinade has cooled down add a drizzle of vinegar.
