Herring braised in milk

About the product


  • 200 g herring
  • 200 ml milk
  • ¼ onion
  • 15 g butter
  • Seasoning


Clean the herring, place the cleaned herring in baking tray. Cover it in the diced onion, salt and pepper, add one or two bay leafs. Create small chunks of butter and equally place them over the fish and pour milk over it and cover it with a lid. Add some parsley before serving, tastes great with potatoes.
